The event went quite well today. It was nice to see so many people there for dancing, etc. I am particularly happy with the choir's performance; I thought we sounded quite well in a nice venue with a sizable, cooperative audience. I've finally cashed in that Amazon gift certificate from the Debatable Choir, and will be getting another straight trumpet (in the hopes of finding a horn worthy of getting multiples for a 4-6 member trumpet ensemble) and a book on the history of brass instruments.
